What's good to mix with gin?

Haven't really had a drink in ages, due to my allergic reactions to normal liquor. After a suggestion from my father, he said i should try Gin, as it's not made in the same way like regular alcohol, such as vodka. So, before google and look for 100's of gay drinks, I was wondering if any of you boys know of or have any suggestions that i could use to mix the gin with?

gin isn't something I really drink but I do know people who mix it with orange juice...in truth gin was around before vodka and people would mix it with the stuff they would now with vodka

Cheers bud. Yeah, i haven't had gin before, but one time has to be the first. I usually mix vodka with coke, not sure how it taste with gin, but i gonna try.
